Kindred at Home Hospice

Kindred at Home’s experienced nurses and therapists use medical interventions, including wound care and rehabilitation therapy, and work with each individual to maximize physical abilities, and improve health and well-being, all in the comfort of a patient’s own home.

Opportunities Available:

Patient Care
Volunteers visit our patients and families in their own home, Senior Care Facility or Nursing Home or the Kindred at Home Hospice Inpatient Unit in SW Fort Worth. These volunteers provide companionship and social engagement or sit with the patient for a short period of time to give the caregiver a much needed break!

Best Times to Volunteer: Mon-Fri 10:00a.m.- 5:00p.m.
Requirements/Training: Completed Volunteer Application, Interest Interview, Orientation, Background Check, and must be over 18 years of age.

Administrative
Volunteers assist in the Fort Worth Hospice Office doing clerical assignments such as mailings, copying and filing.

Best Times to Volunteer: We need volunteers Thurs & Fri between 10:00a.m.- 5:00p.m. however we accept volunteers during these same hours Mon-Fri.
Requirements/Training: Completed Volunteer Application, Interest Interview, Orientation, Background Check, and must be over 18 years of age.
