Dr. Rosangela Boyd, Director

Dr. Boyd joined TCU in October of 2006. Prior to joining TCU, she implemented various national and international service-learning projects as a faculty member in the College of Health Professions and the Director of Personnel Preparation at the Institute on Disabilities at Temple University (PA). She is a native of Brazil, where she majored in Special Education and English. Her Master's Degree and Ph.D. are both from Clemson University (SC) in Counseling and Guidance/Higher Education and Therapeutic Recreation, respectively. Erin Wilson, Associate Director

Erin Wilson holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee, a Master’s in Human Development and Leadership with an emphasis in Youth and Non-Profit from Murray State University, and is completing her doctorate in Organizational Leadership with a Higher Education concentration from Abilene Christian University. In her current role, Erin plans and executes the programming and outreach components for the OCE and works to create service opportunities for students, faculty, and staff. She is no stranger to community service and engagement having spent years as a Donor Relations and Community Relations Coordinator for Arkansas Foodbank, in Family Services at Arkansas Children’s Hospital and Director of Housing/Residence Life for CLV at McMurry University. Additionally, she spends much of her free time volunteering for several non-profit organizations. Erin has been recognized on many occasions for her outgoing personality, vivacious smile and her passion for feeding the hungry of her community. In her spare time, she loves to travel with her husband, mentors young women and enjoys learning about meerkats.

Bill West, Associate

Upon retiring from Tarrant County Juvenile Services after 35 years, Bill West joined the Criminal Justice/Sociology Department at TCU as adjunct faculty in 2007. Throughout his career, he has been involved with community and governmental agencies, ISDs and non-profits at the local, state and national level. He became connected to our center after receiving one of our service-learning faculty grants, and is currently volunteering his services on a part-time basis to assist with academic service-learning partnership development and follow up. Bill is the academic service-learning liasion to the School of Communication, Science and Engineering, Criminal Justice, Sociology, Political Science, Anthropology & Economics. Email Bill
